Hey Everyone,

First off, a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated, whether it was by entering the contest, voting, or just getting the word out. We had an incredible turnout for this contest. Not only has the quality of the submissions greatly increased, but the number of participants, entries, and community voters (144) have all seen an amazing increase as well.

So, now that the voting is over and points have been tallied, the following results will be passed on to the Inkscape developers to choose a winner.

Please note that in addition to all of the votes that people cast in the previous Journal entry, there were an additional 15 votes cast by non-DA members on our Inkscape mailing lists which have been included.

With Primary votes = 2 points and Secondary = 1 point we get:

1 - - 125 points
2 - - 70 points
3 - - 49 points

When the developers are done voting, the results will be posted and the authors of the above will be contacted.
